When writer, director Bryan Michael Stoller talked to Dolly Parton about playing the foster mother in First Dog, Dolly was gearing up for her world tour and it conflicted with her schedule.  Instead, Dolly offered to write original songs for the movie.  After reading thru the script again, Dolly wrote three amazing songs for the soundtrack; "Eager to Please," "Family of Friends," and the emotional ballad, "Someone's Missing You."  Thank you so much Dolly!
